It was named after Sen. Benigno S. "Ninoy" Aquino, Jr. which a 22.7 hectare botanical and zoological garden with lagoon and playground.
This place also uses as a temporary shelter for confiscated, retrieved, donated, sick, abandoned, and injured wild animals.
